HOT HOT HOT

Louis Stands, or ''Hothead Lou'', is no stranger to the hot rod scene. As a Hop Up Magazine and Speed Kulture contributor and a member of the HUBCATS Motor Club O.C. California; I'd say he's pretty much in the center of ''the scene''.  You might also remember him from the past feature of his beautiful red ’27 Roadster I did a while ago. Refresh your memory by clicking here.

As the story often goes, Lou sold his '27 Roadster and the red menace was replaced with a '32.

I was sad to sell it but to own an all steel 32 is a dream come true! VERDE 32 is a 1932 Ford Roadster build by SoCal Speed Shop and Bruce Canepa Design.

Dark Jade color and tan naugahyde interior. 4 piece hood and 32 headlights. 350/350 Chevrolet drive train and 9” ford rear. All transverse leaf springs. 40 ford front wheels with 4.50/4.75x16” firestone blackwall tires in front. Rears are Divco aluminum Milk Truck wheels that are 18” with 7.00x18 firestones.  High dome beanie caps on the wheels.

I must say that I love the stance on Verde 32... perfect lines and somehow it has that ''muscle'' attitude to it. What do you know, dreams can come true, huh !

Thanks Lou for the words and photos buddy!
