Due to the misty mist there was no hot rod racing at Pendine on the Sunday when I attended the event so all the action was on Saturday. Nevertheless, this gave me the opportunity to spend even more time between the hot rods.
From the VHRA IG account I learned that Steve “Stinger” Read drove his needle nosed Model T (the light green ''113'' one in the photos), powered by a 383 small block Chevy, at a max speed of 138.22 mph. Making Steve King of the Beach 2024. Beautiful car, like all the ones that hit the beach this year.
