dWRENCHED SPECIAL

Like I always do... I got hang up once again on something I definitely find awesome or ''dWRENCHED''. Most of the (good) things I do are by mistake. Lol. Case implied here as well. I googled myself over one pic of this amazing hot rod by mistake. The rest...is just history. Or googling for the most part :)

Codename Willys Hot Rod. It's simply amazing what the rested human mind can come up with. Or the troubled one....didn't quite figured that one out yet. Based on a 1945 CJ-2A Willy, this rod was built by Randy Ellis Design , from Phoenix, US.  Chevy 350 motor, semi-baffled open headers, 31-inch rear tires. Sounds fun enought on the paper huh ? Because I don't think I'll have to tell you how cool and special this construction really is. The pics can do that.

Chopped, low, mean and clean. A very super-duper hot rod! And when I think about how the stock Willy looks like... damn! I could get along so fine with you baby!!! Slashing rubber, rocks and what not all over the place :)

  5. Bad Ass, George! When I was a kid my dad had a '42 Willy's. That thing would go through or over anything in it's way. I swear it could damn near climb a tree LOL... When I was 9 we got rear ended on the highway and me and my sister were ejected and slid down the road (we survived, kids were tougher back then LOL). It destroyed the rear of the jeep. My dad, being broke, but also in love with his jeep, bought a '48 Willy's basket case and grafted the entire rear section onto the '42. The '48 was about 6"-9" wider, so the new rear was wider than the front. Believe it or not, it looked cool as hell and dad had many more years of enjoyment out of his jeep. He ended up trading it for some land several years later, but that jeep will always be my fondest childhood memory.
