Kjetil, who is a member of the Coupe Devils Car Club, bought the car in 2000. The car had been imported from Washington state in the US and was heavily attacked by rust. Kjetil kept the car on hold for a couple of years while deciding what to do with it. When he finally started work on the car, he first had to get it driveable. After that it was time to modify the body. Kjetil chopped the top 4 1/2 inches in the front, and 10 inches in the rear. The roof was also shortened about 20 inches.
The rear window was kept stock, but angled downward. The rear doors were welded shut, and the car was hardtopped. Up front the car was modified with frenched 1954 Chevrolet BelAir headlight rims. Kjetil lowered the car as much as possible without channeling the body or kicking up the frame. Brand new Firestone WWW tires were also installed. Once completed Kjetil was so fond of the old patina on the car, so he decided to replicate the old paint as good as possible.
The car is powered by its stock straight-eight flathead engine.''
