''The '35 pickup (...) was built from the ground up by Fullerton Fabrication in Brea California.  The project kicked off in 2013 and was completed in January of 2015 when the truck debuted at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona California.

The pickup itself is a spirtual successor to Rudy Rodriguez's original truck, "Coahuila" that debuted in 2001.  Rudy had turned down all offers to build another in subsequent years until he finally agreed to build this pickup with his son Jasper some 12 years later.'' (Hunter quote)
