”Why don’t you build a chopper that can do big trips ? ... that is what started it all.”
We actually built it with old bikes from the El Forastero MC in our minds.”
”A lot of fans of 70’s choppers will tell you hardtails are the only way to go but actually when the chopper thing started going big in the late seventies, many, many bikers started stretching and raking their stock Fatbobs, Super Glide’s and Low Riders. First they kept the rear of the bike stock. To make the rear look better Crazy Frank later came up with a bolt on fender-seat-sissybar conversion.”
