dWRENCHED

Charly Gregoire from Belgium is in charge on Red Baron Choppers (in Belgium, d'oh ). ''Burning Steel'' is one of those creations that really makes your eyeballs get bigger. It's like a cup of fresh air, if you will. I can't say that this build brings me back to the simpler times when hot rods and hand made chopps were everything  you could find on the streets. Just because I wasn't so lucky to be a part of that or even conceived @ that time! But I like to be carried away and imagine...

Gregoire's inspiration came out of the machines of the 19th Century's Industrial Revolution. When everything was evolving and new ideas were put to the test. To honor that heritage and that great start-up point, CG built this dazzling custom.

Single shock springer front end. Drilled . Drilled frame to make it lighter too. Heavy and very compact look. Leather straps connect the under gas tank with the backbone. Flat Head powered (of course). Ford carb. All metal riveted seat.
It's a true work of art that really touches a chopper addict. Case implied. Wonderful...just wonderful.

ps : In case you didn't know...CG also built Revenge back in 2006.  Yeah, that beauty with the Moto Guzzi side style mounted Harley V-Twin and BMW tranny.

My friend Ron from Vision Design sent me a while ago a picture of this insane build. Since then I thought how much work went into this one and how many trial and errors the bulding process encountered. It's not built by Ron by the way.
The look it's killer. Killer I tell you!

What used to be a Yamaha SR 400 turned out into this dWRENCHED machine. Of course, the first thing you notice it's the curvey tankless single backbone. Cut from a 3/4 inch aluminium thick plate. Beautifully done monoshock girder front fork. Super clean handle bars. No crappy details added.   Monoshock under the seat.  The tank underneath is for gas and it uses an electric fuel pump.

 Cool...plain and simple (?)!

AMERICAN BIKER BUILD-OFF ...it's finally ''OVER''.

Jesse James

OCC

PJD

And the WINNER is ...PJD!

While JJ built a high custom chopp to be riden, OCC did one hell of a dWRENCHED ''trike'' and PJD came up with something cool  this time?  ...
Eh, doesn't even matter now; the public has spoken. PJD is the best between (?!)  these 3. At ratings, popularity, at building bikes, craftsmanship... one of these or all of them.
Congrats !

dWRENCHED SPECIAL

Like I always do... I got hang up once again on something I definitely find awesome or ''dWRENCHED''. Most of the (good) things I do are by mistake. Lol. Case implied here as well. I googled myself over one pic of this amazing hot rod by mistake. The rest...is just history. Or googling for the most part :)

Codename Willys Hot Rod. It's simply amazing what the rested human mind can come up with. Or the troubled one....didn't quite figured that one out yet. Based on a 1945 CJ-2A Willy, this rod was built by Randy Ellis Design , from Phoenix, US.  Chevy 350 motor, semi-baffled open headers, 31-inch rear tires. Sounds fun enought on the paper huh ? Because I don't think I'll have to tell you how cool and special this construction really is. The pics can do that.

Chopped, low, mean and clean. A very super-duper hot rod! And when I think about how the stock Willy looks like... damn! I could get along so fine with you baby!!! Slashing rubber, rocks and what not all over the place :)

dWRENCHED

Can you believe that this dWRENCHED bike started out as a Honda Mega Pro ? But thanks to a shop called Yogyakarta N'Joy76 that sad poor thing (aka ''bike'') ended up looking like a bike drawing from those weird jap manga series. I mean....damn! This custom it's a sucha exotic cocktail!!!
Ok so first of all we have the funky front end. Curved. To go with the whole design, the frame is also curved and has that fishy fish ( lol ) look. The handle bars are clean. Under the backbone there is an aluminiun gas tank.

The part that really gets to me it's the stop light. It's incorporated in the exhaust that rises from down under the cafe racer style really small tail.
C'mon now...that's gorgeous! The orange-yellow flashy paint is another +1. Tons of chrome and hundreads of hp's couldn't match the cool factor on this one in my book!
